Commercial Photography Information & Terms
We welcome commercial photographers to capture beautiful moments in our tulip fields! To ensure a positive experience for photographers, clients, and the public, please review the following information and terms carefully before booking.
With our season being heavily weather/bloom dependant, we are offering bookings for our estimated season of May 8th-17th 2026.
Who Qualifies as a Commercial Photographer?
- Any photographer entering the field to conduct photography on our premises for profit, and/or
- Any photographer bringing large or professional photography equipment into the field (flash screens, tripods, lighting fixtures etc.)
Booking Availability
To enhance the experience for everyone, we schedule only one commercial photographer in the field at a time. In rare cases due to weather or other operational factors, we reserve the right to schedule no more than 2 photographers concurrently.
Photographers may book:
- Before or after business hours (exclusive access to the field), or
- During public business hours (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM), when the field will also be open to general visitors.

When is "Best" to Book
We get asked this question all the time.
In short - we would not open our field to photography if we did not feel that all available dates will offer a fantastic, valuable backdrop for each and every photographer that enters our field.
Early in the season, we have more tulips, as they haven't been picked yet - however they will have smaller blooms. Later in the season is the opposite: less tulips, but large colourful blooms. It comes down to your individual preferences!
We offer "Standard" booking during our business hours, with guests in the field, as well as "Premium" photography time before/after our business hours that allow for complete privacy and beautiful morning and evening shoots.
Booking Policies
All bookings are final.
Refunds or rescheduling may be considered at the sole discretion of Summerhaven Tulips
Summerhaven Tulips reserves the right to modify or cancel sessions if conditions require.
Client Admission Requirements
The commercial photography booking covers the photographer only.
All adults (13+) participating in the session must also purchase a valid viewing or General Admission ticket
Tickets may be purchased separately through our website and presented upon entry.
Field Use & Props
Our tulip field features a variety of props available for use during your session, including:
- Picnic tables, benches, swings, etc.
Our field fosters a family-friendly, respectful, and inclusive environment. We ask that all clients wear appropriate attire throughout their time with us, and please treat all props, flowers, visitors, and field areas with care and respect.
